Nearly 50% of the exterior mortar joints, between the two radial brick boiler chimneys at the University, were in a deteriorated condition. Jansons repaired more than 22,000 lineal feet of mortar joints in conjunction with nearly 300 bricks being replaced throughout the structures.
Perform more than 22,000 lineal feet of mortar joint repairs
Install new / replacement components to the existing Lightning Protection Systems; such as new Air Terminals, down lead anchors, and encircling cable
Removal and replacement of (6) six existing bolted flange-type reinforcing bands with new lap weld-type reinforcing bands at the same elevations
Remove approximately 300 severely cracked or spalled brick units and replaced with new radial brick
